Come home to yourself.
Discover your values.
Come Home:
One practice to help you remember what truly matters to you.
Sometimes what matters to us gets buried beneath what’s practical, expected, responsible, or required.
This exercise isn’t about making a new life plan. It’s an opportunity to temporarily set some of those constraints aside, get quiet, and listen for what emerges.
You may notice clues about what you value, what you’ve been missing, what you want more of—or what you’re ready to have less of.
Give yourself about 15 minutes. Grab a journal or something to write with, and find somewhere you can be uninterrupted.
How it works:
3 simple steps to come home to yourself.
01: IMAGINE
Get comfortable and listen to the guided audio.
02: WRITE
Free write on the prompt for 10 minutes.
03: LISTEN
Notice and reflect on what came through during the exercise.
01: IMAGINE
Meet the version of you who stayed true to herself.
In this guided practice, you’ll imagine yourself many years from now, looking back on a life that feels deeply meaningful and true to you.
Not a perfect life. Not a life without hard seasons.
A life in which, through all of it, you remained connected to yourself.
Find somewhere quiet and comfortable, have your journal ready, and press play.
Have your journal or writing device nearby. Go right from the visualization practice into writing.
01: WRITE
Explore: what made this life feel like yours?
What core values did you live your life by that gave your life meaning?
Write for a minimum of ten minutes. Even when you feel like you have written enough, if it hasn’t been 10 minutes yet…keep going. Of course, you can write for longer.
Keep your pen moving across the page or your fingertips across the keyboard and see what emerges through exploration and curiosity.
You might explore:
What mattered most to you?
How did you spend your time?
Who did you share your life with?
How did you show up in the relationships that mattered?
What did you make room for?
What did you stop worrying so much about?
What did you say ‘yes’ to? What did you learn to say ‘no’ to?
You might explore:
What themes keep appearing?
What felt most important?
What did you make time for?
What was notably absent?
What qualities shaped the way you lived?
What made your life feel meaningful?
These are clues to what matters most to you — to the values you want your life to reflect.
01: LISTEN
What did you notice?
Now pause, take a breath, and read back through what you wrote.
Reflect on what you noticed and look for the threads running through your words.
You might circle important words or themes, especially those that show up over and over again.
Final Step: Somewhere on your page, write 2-3 words that represent the primary values that guided your well-lived life.
Let these words settle into your system. Notice where in your life you feel they currently play out and where you feel like they are missing. Over the next week, hold these values in your mind and sense how true they feel.
Right now, don’t feel like you have to do anything. You don’t need to overhaul your life, or feel bad about being misaligned in areas, or rush to change anything. For right now, let this exercise and these values breathe and take up some space in your body.
THIS IS JUST A STARTING PLACE
Coming home to yourself is a practice.
What you learned about yourself today can be easy to lose track of once you return to the demands of everyday life.
Coming home to yourself isn't something you do once. It's a practice of noticing when you've moved away from yourself — and learning how to return, again and again.
The Somatic Pharmacy is where you can continue that practice, with short somatic tools for the moments when life pulls you away from yourself.

I also work privately with a small number of women who are ready to explore these patterns more deeply and build a life of ambition, meaning, and personal agency without abandoning themselves in the process.
